Animal food
Our tailor-made products give meat and jelly an attractive “fried” colour and a beautiful red “roasted” look to grains. Our innovative concepts include applying frying patterns to animal food and colouring by means of spraying.
Drinks
Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks can acquire a perfect colour and taste with Buisman’s tailor-made recipes. Examples of this are spiced gin and mocha liqueur. Our caramels are stable in alcohol and acid and offer a colour spectrum varying from light golden-yellow to dark brown. Solubility is 100% in alcohol concentrations up to 50%.
Savoury
Buisman has developed tailor-made process and recipe solutions for exotic ready-made dishes and snacks. The right application of caramelised sugar and caramel enables products to retain their full flavour and fresh appearance. This not only applies to meat and fish products - meat substitutes too acquire a beautiful fried appearance. An excellent application of caramel is in enriching the colour of marinades.
Sweets
The properties of traditionally made caramel and caramelised sugar are ideal for the tailor-made optimisation of sweets and sweet production processes. For example, you can prevent the formation of extra moisture by using our caramel, which is less hygroscopic. Use it in your recipe for liquorice to get a natural, transparent black colour. In addition to our caramel and caramelised sugar (also ideal for coating and decorations), our mocha is perfect for enhancing the taste of coffee and mocha sweets.
